By utilizing the simple-to-install, inexpensive PowerModule-β Developer Kit™, you’ll be able to rapidly determine how to implement the PowerModule™ across your exhaust sources to generate power from wasted heat.

About the PowerModule-β Developer Kit™

The Alphabet Energy PowerModule-β Developer Kit™ is a package that allows you to quickly and easily test the Alphabet Energy PowerModule™ thermoelectric converter in your exhaust pipe or flue. The Developer Kit includes:

Using the included step-by-step guide as well as all the included connectors and hoses, assemble the four components into your existing exhaust test system to begin generating and measuring power from the PowerModule-β™. Alphabet Energy will then work with you to determine how many PowerModules™ you’ll need to maximize the value of your wasted heat across all of your relevant operations!

Suitable for a wide variety of exhaust sources, optimized for hot gas at temperatures ranging from 350 to 600 °C. The PowerModule-β Developer Kit™ delivers up to 550 W of DC power (see specifications below) to help you rapidly gain an understanding of how thermoelectrics can deliver value in your operations.

The included exhaust transition sections accept exhaust from standard piping. The included radiator provides the necessary cooling capacity to the PowerModule™. Finally, the included electrical power output measurement system allows you to easily locate the peak-power point for the PowerModule™ at any exhaust condition and measure the PowerModule’s™ power output.
